Setting SL with a timeout is clear why. And what is the practical point of closing a position in X hours?

I came up with a similar idea while collecting trade statistics. From my personal observations, if everything is fine with the idea of a trade and there are no fornication, then:
- the deal must be closed in 2 hours. For me, this is a reference point in terms of trading quality;
- 4-6 hours - a borderline state, usually at this time, after collecting all CO, the asset gives a “last chance” - to close either with a minimal loss, or even near zero;
- There is no point in waiting for more than 12 hours; the market phase changes irrevocably, even if the asset freezes sideways after collecting all the CO and does not decrease significantly. As practice shows, this is a matter of time and he will definitely do it.
This option is precisely not to wait for the asset to reach the stop, but to minimize the loss of a failed trade right away.
On the screen, today's trade is in reality using Matic. Opened at 06:15, collected by 1CO, the deal lasts almost 9 hours with take 0.35. It is logical to close it after the time has elapsed than to give it an opportunity to stop.
